Description
The actors Ichikawa Danjuro VIII in the role of Jiraiya (standing), Asao Okuyama III in the role of Yakama Shikaroku, Bando Shuka in the role of Miyuki. At left is sendai Shimahatchi. From the play Jiraiya goketsu monogatari. The sun is rising behind them, dramatically sending out streaks of red light, and Jiraiya is subduing Shikaroku with the oar of the boat.
