Description
Colour woodblock print. One sheet from the book "Ehon butai ogi" (絵本舞台扇), Picture-book of the Stage in Fan-shapes. Sakata Hangorō II in the role of Ōboshi Yuranosuke, in the play 'Kanadehon chūshingura' (仮名手本忠臣蔵) performed at the Morita theatre, Edo from the 3rd day of the 4th month, 1769.
