                  <text>Black Women of Print continues to expand on personal, familial, spiritual, and creative legacies. &lt;em&gt;Lore: What We Were Told | What We Saw | What We Tell Ourselves&lt;/em&gt; is a collection of emic narratives created by active founding members and Cohort II members.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Denotatively, lore is a particular body of knowledge or trandition the lore of Black heroines.&lt;br /&gt;2: something that is learned:&lt;br /&gt;a: traditional knowledge or belief of tribal lore&lt;br /&gt;b: knowledge gained through study or experience ex: the lore of feminist art&lt;br /&gt;3 archaic: something that is taught: Lesson&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Each Black woman printmaker has approached the portfolio with varied devices, intertwining theory, myth, technical skills, materiality, etc. into a visual lore.</text>
